Kane Stanley is a seasoned drummer and percussionist based in Athens, Georgia, with over 30 years of experience performing, touring, and studying rhythm traditions from around the world. A native of Athens, Kane has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean, appearing at festivals, clubs, theaters, and cultural events with a wide range of artists and ensembles. Equally at home on drum set or hand percussion, Kane’s musical approach draws from Classic Rock, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and West African traditions. Known for his improvisational instinct, musical sensitivity, and stylistic versatility, Kane brings intention, feel, and respect for the song to every performance.

Bruce Hampton, Roy “Futureman” Wooten, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Rising Appalachia, Divinity (Beyonce), Sam Sims (Janet & Michael Jackson) and was also honored to be featured in concert with members of the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire.
