Tourdom is built for musicians, touring artists, bands, and the trusted industry professionals who support them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how public sharing works, and what choices you have.

1. Who Operates Tourdom
Tourdom is operated by Drum&Strum LLC, a Georgia limited liability company.

We do not store your plain-text password.
Profile and Public Music Community Information
You may choose to provide public-facing information such as:
- Stage name.
- Username.
- Profile photo.
- Location.
- Musician, artist, or professional bio.
- Instruments, musical role, production role, venue role, services, or industry-professional role.
- Links.
- Public profile details, including profile type or professional role if you provide it.
- Public tour map information.
This information may be visible to other users and visitors.
Tour Map and Venue Information
When you use Tourdom’s tour map and venue tools, we may collect:
- Tour stops.
- Tour/project names.
- Dates.
- Venue names.
- City, state/province, and country.
- Map coordinates.
- Stop visibility settings.
- Public/private notes.
- Ratings.
- Saved venue records.
- Shared venue library data.
- Master Venue Map information.
Public tour stops and shared venue data may be visible to others.
Private notes are intended to remain private to your account, but no online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Venue Ratings and Road Intel
Tourdom may collect venue ratings, public notes, and related road-intel style information.
This information may be used to:
- Display venue ratings.
- Improve map quality.
- Help musicians and trusted industry professionals evaluate venues.
- Build aggregated road-intel features.
- Reduce duplicate venue records.
- Improve shared venue search and autocomplete.
Venue ratings may be public depending on how the feature is presented and configured.
Messages and Community Activity
If you use Tourdom messaging, connection tools, scene boards, comments, or similar features, we may collect:
- Message content.
- Sender and recipient information.
- Timestamps.
- Read/unread status.
- Blocking or moderation-related activity.
- Notifications.
- Scene posts or community content.
Messages are not public by default, but Tourdom may access them when needed for safety, support, troubleshooting, moderation, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
Uploaded Images and Media
Tourdom may collect and store uploaded profile photos or other supported media.
Profile photos may be stored in cloud object storage and served through public URLs if they are part of public profiles or public-facing site features.
If you upload a profile photo, it may be visible publicly depending on your profile settings and site behavior.
Generated Social Preview Images
Tourdom may generate social preview images for public tour maps.
These images may include:
- Tourdom branding.
- A map screenshot.
- Public stage name or username.
- Public stop counts.
- Public country counts.
- Public map information.
- Tourdom promotional text.
These images may be stored in cloud storage so social platforms can display link previews.
Third-party platforms may cache these images and previews. Tourdom cannot fully control how long outside platforms keep cached versions.
Payment and Tip Information
If you support Tourdom through a tip jar, donation, paid feature, subscription, sponsorship, benefactor support, or similar payment tool, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
Tourdom may receive limited payment-related information such as:
- Payment status.
- Amount.
- Date.
- Transaction reference.
- Name or email if provided by the payment processor.
Tourdom does not intend to store full credit card numbers on its own servers.

4. Public Information
Tourdom is partly a public musician-first networking platform that also welcomes trusted industry professionals.
The following may be public depending on your settings and use of the site:
- Username.
- Stage name.
- Profile photo.
- Public profile information.
- Public tour map.
- Public tour stops.
- Public venue ratings.
- Public scene posts.
- Public venue contributions.
- Generated social preview images.
- Public map statistics.
If you do not want certain information to be public, do not submit it publicly or adjust available visibility settings where provided.
Public information may be indexed, cached, shared, screenshotted, copied, or stored by third parties.
5. Shared Venue Data
Tourdom includes shared venue records to help musicians and trusted industry professionals benefit from collective road knowledge.
When you contribute venue information, that information may become part of the shared venue library or Master Venue Map.
To keep the venue library useful, Tourdom may:
- Normalize venue names.
- Correct obvious typos.
- Merge duplicate venue records.
- Preserve canonical venue records.
- Lock shared venue identity fields.
- Keep shared venue data even if one user deletes a tour stop or account.
This helps prevent the map from turning into a pile of mystery pins, which is not the kind of experimental jazz anyone asked for.
6. Account Deletion and Data Retention
You may request account deletion where available.
If your account is deleted, Tourdom may delete or anonymize personal account information where reasonably possible.
However, some information may remain when needed for:
- Shared venue records.
- Public road-intel integrity.
- Legal compliance.
- Security.
- Fraud and abuse prevention.
- Audit logs.
- Backups.
- Dispute resolution.
- Aggregated statistics.
- Site functionality.
Shared venue information, public ratings, generated previews, cached social cards, and third-party copies may not be fully removable.
Backups may retain deleted information for a limited period before being overwritten or removed according to normal backup practices.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Tourdom may use cookies, sessions, local storage, or similar technologies to:
- Keep users logged in.
- Maintain sessions.
- Remember preferences.
- Protect against spam or abuse.
- Support security features.
- Improve performance.

Depending on available features, you may be able to:

- Change your stage name or display name.
- Upload or replace your profile photo.
- Set tour stops as public or private.
- Delete tour stops.
- Edit notes or ratings.
- Block users.
- Request account deletion.
- Contact Tourdom for support.
Some shared or public information may not be fully removable once it has become part of shared venue records, public previews, aggregated venue/rating features, backups, logs, or third-party caches.
13. Data Location
Tourdom is operated from the United States.
If you use Tourdom from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
By using Tourdom, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
14. Do Not Sell Personal Information
Tourdom does not currently sell personal information in the ordinary sense of exchanging personal data for money.
If Tourdom later uses advertising, analytics, sponsorship, or partner tools that trigger additional privacy rights under applicable law, this Privacy Policy may be updated.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Tourdom may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
